Purpose of sponsoring:
Als Teil des ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie fördert das Institut einzelne Komponisten mit Stipendien und Auftrittsmöglichkeiten, es archiviert elektronische und elektro-akustische Musik und bietet einzigartige Produktionsverhältnisse.
In den Musikstudios und Ateliers erarbeiten Gastkünstler und Wissenschaftler akustische Produktionen. Die Projekte umfassen mit digitaler Klangsynthese, algorithmischer Komposition und Live-Elektronik bis zu Hörspiel, interaktiven Klanginstallation und audiovisuellen Produktionen eine breite Palette dessen, wozu die digitale Technologie musikalische Phantasie anregt.
